Several male teachers donated money, time, and looks to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Lisa Kozlowski Named Beaver County Teacher of the Year

Lisa Kozlowski, an elementary PE teacher at Hopewell Elementary was named Beaver County Teacher of the Year!  Lisa has been in education for over 20 years and has taught in several states.  She has written several grants including: Beaver County Educational Trust Grant, and two grants through Highmark, one of which benefits the faculty as well as the students.  She runs the Kids of Steel Marathon program in our district for the elementary, offers Jump Rope and Running Clubs outside of the school day on her own time, and is an active part of our RtII program at Hopewell Elementary.  In addition to her many accomplishments withing the education system, she is also an accomplished triathlete.
